Hi, I’m Samantha Amit.

As an international professional, I bring a unique blend of expertise as a certified leadership coach, mindfulness practitioner, facilitator, and author of the acclaimed book Mindfulness at Work: The Practice and Science of Mindfulness for Leaders, Coaches, and Facilitators. My approach is to teach mindfulness and integrate it into the fabric of leadership and work culture.

I have over 20 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in global companies in diverse industries, including government, high-tech financial, healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, and aerospace and defense.

The Importance of Learning With A Trained MBSR Teacher

The MBSR program is an intensive 8-week journey that requires a trained facilitator. Because I am so passionate about sharing this remarkable program with others, I committed myself to becoming a qualified teacher, fully prepared to handle all facets of the program.  I completed my MBSR teacher training course in 2016 at Reichman University in Israel and Bangor University in Wales. Bangor, together with UMASS University, are the original trainers of MBSR. Before completing my MBSR training in 2016, I taught mindfulness mainly in organizations to professionals to assist them with coping tools to manage stress and uncertainty and as part of their leadership effectiveness toolbox.

MSBR is a groundbreaking 8-week course developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in the late 1970s to treat patients struggling with chronic pain and mental health. Since its debut, tens of thousands of people have taken advantage of the program’s life-changing benefits.

Mindfulness is the practice of intentionally bringing one’s attention to the present moment with an attitude of curiosity and non-judgment.

You will receive the class recordings. However, we recommend that you attend as many live classes as possible.
