This workshop is an opportunity to practice and create new mindful habits. In each meeting we will practice the different Mindfulness techniques you learnt and add to these.
Mindfulness is Conscious Living. It influences everything and everyone we interact with. Life has a way of presenting itself and there is very little way to control those conditions, actually it’s impossible to control and the only thing we can control is the relationship we have to our thoughts about what is occurring. This is wisdom. Almost half of our waking time our minds wander. Research has shown that a wandering mind is not a happy mind. Thoughts of the past and thoughts of the future. How awake and present are we to the present moment? How often do our worries take us to horror stories of what may be? Through mindfulness practice and meditation we understand more about our thinking and how we see things in the world. With this understanding comes a whole new opportunity for self correction and making changes in our lives so that we live the life we want.
By Practicing Meditation and Mindfulness You Can:
Reduce Your Stress;
Develop mental toughness and ability to copy with adversity;
Better Manage Your Emotions;
Understand more about your negative thought patterns and how these are trigger emotional responses and sometimes outbursts;
Increase Your Wellbeing;
Improve mental and physical health.

What do participants say
Andi S: "Tomorrow, I will complete my final session of MBSR training(Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction). Even though this is just the beginning, I am already experiencing so many of the benefits and am deeply grateful for the ability to learn more and deepen this magnificent and powerful skill. I always thought traditional meditation was NOT for me, but after learning how to incorporate proper mindfulness into my daily life in a very real and practical way, I am seeing just how valuable and essential this is to my overall well-being and how a few minutes everyday can significantly elevate my living experience, my ability to be present in each moment, and enhance my performance without self-judgement, something that used to be difficult for me."
"I didn't know what to expect when beginning the Mindfulness course, and couldn't have imagined the positive impact this training has had on my life."
"If you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed in any part of your life, I highly recommend taking this course."
"I never knew what to do or not do with all of my thoughts and feelings. I was never able to meditate in spite of my best efforts. With the MBSR programme’s supportive guidance during the course, I now have learnt what to do when I sit down to meditate – and I really look forward to it."
"Before coming to your course I was seriously considering taking medication. In fact I had asked my doctor to prescribe for me medication to help me with my panic attacks. I have gained invaluable tools and excercises that I can do daily that can help me. I am so happy - I feel that I am in charge of my life now."
"Even though I am a lawyer, I have not been able to practice. I stopped working because the stress of home and life was too much for me. I have recently gone back to work again. I am still apprehensive and yet so happy. I have ways to deal with my stress so that it doesn't build up. I am more in touch with my body and my mind and feel much calmer. I am more compassionate with myself and others - its a wonderful feeling."
"I was always looking towards being perfect - the perfect wife and mother. I was so busy with work and with others. Now I am paying attention to myself and what is important for me. I have more energy and motivation. I am finding that by learning more about myself and by practing mindfulness not only is it helping me, it is also helping me thrive at home and at work - others are also benifiting. Thanks so much!"
